Digital Culture

The digital world, made possible by information technologies, is fertile ground for fascinating research on culture and society. The academic world has been addressing these questions for the past three decade. The advent of "social network" sites has increased this interest as has the growing attention to issues of privacy and civil rights  in the digital domain. Students wishing to focus especially on the history and philosophy of digital culture are invited to do so. The Cohn Institute offers a special focus on the digital world and information technologies.

Executive MA Program

In addition, the institute offers an Executive Master’s Degree program in philosophy, science, and digital culture for students who prefer not to follow the regular curricular program of the Institute. Courses in this program take place on Fridays only and the program is designed so that it can be completed in one academic year.
