Academic Excellence Tuition Assistance Scholarships
2,500/ 5,000 USD tuition assistance scholarships will be granted to a limited number of students with proven records of academic excellence, who wish to broaden their knowledge and understanding of ancient Israel.
Scholarships for the academic year of 2018-19 will be granted by the Department of Archaeology and Near Eastern Cultures committee based on the following:
- Academic CV
- Final transcript from last academic establishment
- Abstract of the final paper submitted at the last academic establishment

$6,000 USD Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships
6,000 USD tuition assistance scholarships are offered to students who:
- Hold a BA or BSc degree (or higher) and have a good record of academic achievement.
- Are citizens of one of the countries who participate in the scholarship program
(see the full list here) - Are under the age of 35 (at the beginning of the academic year).
- Have proof of English or Hebrew language proficiency (full details here).
Please note that the scholarships will be granted only after the student will complete the application process to be accepted to the program, and after the program will approve the acceptance of the candidate.

A partial tuition scholarship for the academic year of 2018-9 will be awarded by our academic committee to a chosen European student, on the basis of academic excellence.
Scholarship application requirements:
1. Academic achievements: Students must have a GPA of 3 or above or an average score of 80% from their BA degree.
2. English requirements: Students must show that they have either completed their undergraduate studies in English at an English speaking country or alternatively meet the program’s requirements of a TOFEL or IELTS scores.
3. Academic background requirements: Students will come from an academic background of archaeology, history, or a related academic field.
4. References: Students will be able to present relevant recommendation letters and references supporting their work/ study abilities.
Scholarship for Students from Central and South America
Tuition assistance scholarships for the academic year of 2018-9 will be awarded to suitable candidates from Central and South America, who will be accepted by our program and chosen by the committee of Peisach Fund. Program admission requirements:
1. Academic achievements: Students must have a GPA of 3 or above, or an average score of 80% from their BA degree.
2. English requirements: Students must show that they have either completed their undergraduate studies in English at an English speaking country or alternatively meet the program’s requirements of a TOFEL or IELTS scores.
3. Academic background requirements: The program is open to students from all academic backgrounds.

Tuition assistance scholarships for the academic year of 2018-9 will be awarded to suitable candidates from Brazil, who will be accepted by our program and chosen by the committee of The Brazilian Friends of Tel Aviv University. Program admission requirements:
1. Academic achievements: Students must have a GPA of 3 or above, or an average score of 80% from their BA degree.
2. English requirements: Students must show that they have either completed their undergraduate studies in English at an English speaking country or alternatively meet the program’s requirements of a TOFEL or IELTS scores.
3. Academic background requirements: The program is open to students from all academic backgrounds.
