The Institute is the largest and most dynamic center for the History of Science and the Social Studies of Knowledge in the country and one of the most active in the world. Our faculty members consistently win competitive scholarships and grants, publish in top-ranking  journals and are known for their innovative research.

The Cohn Institue full-time faculty are joined by visiting professors from top universities in the US, Europe and Asia. An important component of the institute teaching is conducted  adjunct faculty who teach courses on new and exciting topics and enrich the academic life of the Institute.
