

Ran Kalderon
Administrative Director
Ran Kalderon has a B.A. in political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (cum laude) and an M.A. from the Department of History of Tel Aviv University (summa cum laude), writing his thesis on the relationship between religious texts and religious practices and identities, as based on his reading of a German Marian biography from the late Middle Ages. Ran was for many years a member of the research group led by Professor Zohar Shavit, which studied Jewish and Israeli culture. Previously the administrative director of the Tzagla Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Law at Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Law, he is currently the administrative director of the Jack Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Public Humanities, and a member of a group exploring issues relating to the teaching of history, as part the Center’s Motzaei Da’at program.
