Fellowships
Junior Research Fellows
The Alliance Center for Iranian Studies at Tel Aviv University (ACIS) has supported the cultivation of the future generation of Iranian studies scholars in Israel and abroad. From its inception, the ACIS has been providing critical material, technical, and administrative support as well as mentorship to outstanding research students. The ACIS support includes scholarships, gtrants, administrative assistance (computing, printing, editing, translation), and additional financial aid for participation in international academic conferences.
ACIS senior researchers provide guidance to junior fellows through all stages of their early academic careers – from the articulation of the reserach proposal to dissertation submission and beyond. In recent years numerous fellows of the ACIS have integrated in local and international academic institutions, while others pursue positions in the public service, the military, the media, the non-profit sector, and/or the private sector.
