Submission Guidelines

Articles submitted to History & Memory should be between 8,000 and a maximum length of 12,000 words (including notes) and should not be under consideration elsewhere. The author’s name and contact details should be placed on a separate cover page, along with an abstract and a few keywords. Any self-referencing material that could identify the author should be removed from the notes, text, and document properties. The journal follows the Chicago Manual of Style (humanities), but there are no specific format requirements for initial submission. Submissions should be sent by email (in Word or RTF, double-spaced) to histmem@tauex.tau.ac.il.

Articles that the editors consider are of an appropriate standard for the journal are sent for double-blind review to at least two referees. Every effort is made to complete the review process within a reasonable time.
