The “Salvage Excavation Reports” series is a platform for the publication of trial, salvage, rescue and development excavations carried out by the Israeli Institute of Archaeology under the auspices of the Sonia and Marco Nadler Institute of Archaeology of Tel Aviv University.

The series contains final reports of large-scale excavations and collections of papers dedicated to small-scale excavations. The reports in the series present the stratigraphy and finds of these contract archaeology excavations, along with the results of auxiliary scientific studies. The series thus serves as a forum for the dissemination of knowledge to the public and the scholarly community and may serve as a tool for research by future generations of scholars.
