Dr. Ori Belkind

Dr. Belkind is a philosopher and historian of physics and science. His interests focus on the interrelationships between philosophy and scientific thought from the Middle Ages, especially during the Scientific Revolution and the early twentieth century. He has published an academic book on the philosophy of space and time and Newtonian and relativity mechanics, and articles on the philosophy of natural law, the philosophy and science of Francis Bacon, Isaac Newton, and the principle of relativity. Dr. Belkind completed his master's degree in physics at Tel Aviv University (1998) and his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Washington in Seattle (2004). He served as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Western Ontario and the Cohen Institute.
